Is it possible to upload an illustration to our background area?

Updated 4 months ago

Apologies in advance for the terrible illustration! But was thinking about this area. We've got illustrations with clear backgrounds that would go quite well with our current colour and i think it'd be nice to be decorated slightly (with maybe a fade/50% transparency so it doesn't make the banner area look too busy) rather than be so plain (this is a very minor aesthetic thing!)

Hey Angela,

In Settings, then Customize, you can change the Header Background.

You can set a Color, Gradient, or upload a background Image. Just select the option from the drop down:

The background image should give you desired effective, but you'll need to create the image in design or image software before uploading. It might require a bit of trial-and-error to compose an image that looks as desired in the header.

Let me know if you have any design assets / illustrations and I can have a go at composing these for you try out.

Thanks Kai! Sorry my bad I didn't realise there was an image option in the drop down 😅

Minor feedback, would be good to allow 'edit' option, I couldn't find an edit button so had to remove and reupload everytime i wanted to adjust it.

Would also be nice to show a gauge of the banner size so we know where to crop, of what the asset dimensions for the banner should be so we can create one. I was kinda just guessing by resizing the space.

If you could let me know the banner dimensions I can create an asset that should fit. Thanks Kai!
